Biography

Mr. Hammock represents clients in the energy sector in matters relating to oil and gas exploration, production, distribution, and marketing. His practice focuses on title examination, curative, and due diligence efforts relating to the disposition of producing and nonproducing oil and gas assets.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hammock practiced civil law with concentrations in title examination, title opinions, successions and probate, family law and oil and gas. Mr. Hammock served as Law Clerk for the Honorable Wallace C. LeBrun, Twenty-Fourth Judicial District Court for the Parish of Jefferson. Mr. Hammock is admitted to practice in the US District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Louisiana and the US Bankruptcy Court.

He is a native of New Orleans and currently lives in Houston, Texas and is blessed with his wife Linda, two wonderful daughters, Aimee and Dianna and one extremely active and athletic grandson Avani.
