Rose has been an attorney since 1994. She is a member of the Calvert County Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association. She is currently the president-elect of the CCBA, having served formerly as its treasurer and secretary.
Rose was law clerk to the Honorable Steven I. Platt of the Circuit Court of Prince George’s County and practiced law with her father, George A. Wilkinson, in Hyattsville, Maryland, before starting her own law practice in Southern Maryland. She hails from a family of attorneys - her father, grandfather, sister, and uncle were all attorneys. She is a descendent of George Mason, a US founding father and self-taught lawyer.
Rose earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 1986, making her uniquely qualified for her estate planning and probate law practice. She graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1993. Rose’s current law office is in Dunkirk. ?
Rose is active in many community organizations and previously served as an elected member and president of the Calvert County Board of Education. She is past president of the Northern Middle PTSA, Northern Band Boosters and was past chair of the Calvert County Commission for Women. She enjoys running 5ks and hopes to run a 1/2 marathon in the coming year.
