Ryan Ficklin is an associate attorney at The Law Offices of Eric Swinyard, PLLC. Prior to practicing law in the State of Utah, Ryan practiced family law in Southern California. In 2017, Ryan relocated back to his home state of Utah to focus on serving the people of Utah who need legal representation, particularly in the family law realm. Ryan graduated with honors from California’s Whittier Law School in May of 2015. While in law school, Ryan was a staff member for The Journal of Child and Family Advocacy. Ryan also served as Treasurer for the J. Rueben Clark Society while in law school. Ryan was admitted to the California Bar on June 1, 2016. After graduating from law school, Ryan successfully completed a fellowship with the Legal Aid Society of Orange County. During his fellowship, Ryan assisted low-income residents of Orange County, California in a variety of legal matters.
After his fellowship, Ryan opened his own law firm and immediately began serving Southern California residents. While operating his own practice, Ryan represented a wide range of individuals involved in domestic lawsuits. His clients have included low-income litigants as well as high net worth families. Ryan benefits his clients with the skills and discipline that he learned at the hands of retired judges, commissioners, and seasoned attorneys.
When he is not helping clients, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family and friends, golfing, skiing, hiking, going to concerts, and watching his beloved Utah Jazz.
