COVID-19 Notice - Our firm has been working remotely for years. We have not missed a beat. We are still processing family law cases, having hearings via video conference, and settling and finalizing cases every day.

Do you want to get a divorce, separation, or child custody plan without going through a nasty and public court battle? Are you a parent or family member trying to protect children from the dangers of physical and/or substance abuse?

We can help you:
* Reduce the conflict, cost & duration of the legal process

* Avoid hurt driven decisions that you will pay for financially & emotionally for years to come

* Protect & nurture your children through the process & changes to come

Family law cases, especially those involving children, are never "win or lose." Moreover, research and experience has shown that when a family law case goes to trial, the real loser is the children.

We help divorcing and separating parents - and other family members seeking custody of related children - achieve long-term positive results for themselves and their children without a nasty and public court battle negotiating reasonable solutions to family problems using our trial experience and negotiation skills.

Call now to start resolving family conflict without a nasty courtroom battle.

*** NOTICE ABOUT SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES***

Legal Answers
Q. Can I move to another state, at my will, if my ex is keeping our kids and I provide child support. Live in TN
A: If there is currently a divorce action pending you should seek permission from the court if you cannot work out an agreed parenting schedule for the children that provides for specifics about when you and your kids spend time together. That said, you can move without an agreement but the court may hold that against you if it is ultimately required to make a decision on the parenting schedule if you and the other parent can't agree. You don't need the other parents permission to move without the children, or the courts - they cant keep you here (but can keep the kids here). Just to work out a parenting schedule by agreement or by court order.
