Sam Moore founded the Northern Virginia law firm after leaving active duty as a Judge Advocate in the United States Marine Corps. He manages the firm’s business representation and litigation practices. Mr. Moore’s practice is enhanced by his extensive courtroom experience and commonsense approach to cases.
He has counseled and advised hundreds of clients through substantive legal issues involving business representation, criminal law, civil litigation, military law, and consumer protection law. He provides his clients with broad and substantial legal experience. Through his seven years as a United States Marine Corps Judge Advocate, he litigated an array of misdemeanor and felony courts-martial. He also spent three years as an appellate counsel in Washington, D.C., handling a full case load and managing nine appellate attorneys in their case development.
Outside of the courtroom, he participates in numerous charity and fundraising activities in the Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia communities. He is a member of the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce and the Alexandria, Post 24 American Legion, and STEM Flights among other organizations. He remains committed to the community through his pro bono activity and he continues to serve in the military as a United States Marine Corps reservist.
