- Sam passed the bar exam & was licensed in April 1973, graduated from UH Law School in May, 1973 and joined the firm as a licensed attorney in July 1973. He was made a partner in April 1978. He was a general office praticitioner concentrating in real estate, family law and estate planning. He resigned as a partner at the end of December 1997 and opened his own law office in Lufkin, Texas effective January 1, 1998.
