Sarah G. Landres

Sarah Landres is a member of Shaheen & Gordon’s criminal defense practice group, with over 15 years of experience as a trial lawyer. Sarah represents people of all ages who have been accused of misdemeanor, felony, and driving offenses, including homicide, physical and sexual assault, theft, drug-related crimes, and DUI/DWI.
Sarah recognizes the impact criminal charges can have on someone’s life. A tenacious advocate for her clients both in and out of the courtroom, Sarah provides thoughtful counsel to clients and works closely with them to mitigate risk.
Sarah previously spent twelve years as a trial attorney with the New Hampshire Public Defender, where she defended people facing all levels of criminal charges, driving offenses, probation violations, and juvenile delinquency matters. Prior to joining Shaheen & Gordon, Sarah was in private practice where she focused primarily on family law. Sarah has also worked as a legal consultant for an AppleTV limited series (Presumed Innocent), where she used her knowledge of the criminal legal system to advise the show’s creative team.
A founding Board member of Hope on Haven Hill, a recovery organization in Rochester, NH that serves pregnant and parenting women with substance use disorder, Sarah currently sits on the organization’s governance and finance committees.
