Shari Sukaram

Attorney Shari Sukaram is one of the founding lawyers with Ahmed & Sukaram, Attorneys at Law, a criminal defense law firm representing clients throughout Northern California. Ms. Sukaram realized that she wanted to be a litigation attorney at a young age; she’s since achieved that goal and dedicates her legal career to standing up for the rights of others.
Ms. Sukaram went to the University of California, San Diego, for her undergraduate studies. She then went on to earn her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, in 2007.
During law school, Attorney Sukaram interned for the District Attorney’s Offices in Alameda County and Santa Clara County.
She also worked for the San Diego Unified School District’s Office of the General Counsel during her time at law school.
Today, Attorney Sukaram represents adult clients facing criminal charges, and she also assists juveniles in delinquency cases.
Ms. Sukaram understands the emotional toll that the criminal justice system can impart upon a person, and she makes it a point of emphasis to empathize with each of her clients.
She’s a zealous advocate for everyone she represents and strongly believes that anyone can achieve their goals in life if given the opportunity.
Outside of work, Ms. Sukaram enjoys time at the beach, singing, spending time with family and her pets, and going on adventures.
