Sheldon Toplitt
Attorney/Realtor/Legal Journalist
My practice focuses on personal injury, drafting estate planning documents, residential real estate and media law. I am active in the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA) and Chair of its Real Estate Section Council. I am admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
I am a Massachusetts REALTOR and a former adjunct professor of media law and business law at several Massachusetts universities and colleges. I was graduated, cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School and earned a B.S. degree in journalism from Boston University's College of Communication. I am the author of the MBA Crisis in Court Funding Task Force Report and co-author of the Automobile Law chapter in the ABA's Family Legal Guide.
I am presently Of Counsel to a personal injury attorney and have worked at several small and mid-sized law firms in Massachusetts, including two start-ups of my own. Besides the MBA, I am a member of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board, the Massachusetts Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. I frequently perform pro bono legal work for Metro West Legal Services in Massachusetts.
