Stephen Wayne Gibson
Mr. Gibson was born in Kingsport, Tennessee, and admitted to bar, 1984, Tennessee. Also admitted to the United District Court of the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Tennessee; the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Gibson graduated from the University of Tennessee (B.A., with Honors, 1975); pursued graduate studies at the University of Chicago, and obtained his doctor of jurisprudence from the University of Tennessee in 1984. Member: Tennessee Bar Association, Knoxville Bar Association and Defense Research Institute. Mr. Gibson has served as a charter member of public school foundations in the Knoxville area, has served on the Board of Directors of Camp Montvale for Children, the Blount Mansion of Knoxville, and presently serves as Board Director and Fund Raising Chairman of the Appalachian Bear Rescue. Present: His areas of practice include: Professional and personal liability, employment practices, premises liability, business litigation, products liability litigation, drugs and medical devices, as well as other professional liability cases.
