Tara L. Shaw
Tara L Shaw routinely advises clients on an array of subjects such as anti-discrimination laws, sexual harassment, disciplining and terminating employees, retaliation and whistle blower issues, non-compete and trade secret agreements, wage and hour matters, unemployment compensation, severance agreements and employment contracts. She has successfully represented clients in both state and federal courts and in front of various administrative agencies. Attorney Shaw has defended various types of litigation including discrimination claims, suits alleging wage and hour violations, breach of contract claims and administrative appeals pursuant to the UAPA. Attorney Shaw has represented public and private sector clients in collective bargaining negotiations, as well as labor-related arbitration, mediation and administrative proceedings. Beyond consultation, litigation and labor-related representation, Attorney Shaw regularly works with corporate and municipal clients in drafting and implementing various policies and procedures in order to ensure legal compliance and promote effective management.
