Theodore Francis Riordan
I focus on personal injury law and criminal appeals. Free consultations.
I started my legal career by working as a judicial law clerk for a judge on the Rhode Island Supreme Court. Thereafter I worked as an attorney for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company for over eight years. I learned how insurance companies handle claims. I learned how to deal with an insurance company.
In 1999, I started the law firm of Bates & Riordan with my partner. The firm focuses on personal injury law and criminal appeals. Our personal injury clients have been in accidents that range from construction site injuries to car accidents. Our criminal appeal involve everything from simple misdemeanors to first degree murder.
We've been located in the Wollaston section of Quincy since 2001, but we have clients throughout the state. Our office is handicapped accessible. We will visit you in the hospital or elsewhere as needed. Zoom meetings. All consultations are free and no-obligation. 617-328-8080

- I represented Liberty's insureds when they were sued. Claims involved motor vehicle accidents, construction site accidents, injuries at a home or business. I also sometimes represented Liberty itself when it was sued.

Free Consultation
We usually do an initial simple screening over the phone to make sure this is the kind of case we accept. Then we follow-up with an in-person or Zoom meeting as appropriate. -
Contingent Fees
A personal injury case is where someone has been injured by another person's carelessness (negligence) and is seeking to recover for their injuries. We accept those cases on a contingent fee basis, meaning we get paid when you get paid. There's no up-front cost to hire us.
