Theodore Schiller
Mr. Schiller concentrates his practice in the areas of business and corporate law, automobile dealership and franchise practice law, banking and land use law. Mr. Schiller specializes in buy-sell transactions relating to businesses, dealerships and real estate, and routinely represents business owners in all facets of their business, from organization, required filings, agreements between shareholders or LLC members, vendor agreements, financing and such other matters business owners must deal with on a daily basis. A fair amount of his time is devoted to representing banks in loan transactions.
Mr. Schiller and his partner, Perry Pittenger, created the firm in 2000. It started as a two man operation and has grown to involve twelve experienced and established attorneys. Before establishing the firm, Mr. Schiller was general counsel to Toresco Enterprises, a large automobile dealership group, during which time, he was involved in all aspects of the operation of motor vehicle dealership and general business matters. Mr. Schiller was an Assistant Prosecutor in Union County, New Jersey. As an Assistant Prosecutor, Mr. Schiller prosecuted over twenty jury trials to verdict, cases which included simple drug distribution and complex cases including homicide. Mr. Schiller has held various positions, such as Scotch Plains Municipal Prosecutor, Readington Township Municipal Prosecutor, and Union Township (Hunterdon County) Municipal Prosecutor.
