Thomas A Kurtz
I am passionate about advocating for injured workers and specialize in helping clients navigate the complexities of the legal system in workers’ compensation, personal injury and family law matters. I am driven by a passion for justice and achieving the most favorable outcome for my clients while protecting their rights. I have extensive knowledge and experience representing public safety workers, including police, firefighters, corrections, probation and parole.
While studying law at Lincoln Law School of Sacramento, I gained experience working in the Taxpayers’ Rights Advocate Office at the California State Board of Equalization, and successfully recovered a significant amount of tax liability relief and reimbursement while representing individuals, business owners and corporate offices during appeals versus the California Franchise Tax Board and Board of California State Board of Equalization.
Prior to beginning practicing law, I earned a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration degrees at Saint Mary’s College of California, focusing on Operations Management and Strategic Planning. I spent 20 years in various levels of senior management, including director-level roles, in technology and distribution and supply chain industries.
