Tom earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Massachusetts in Boston. After graduating, he enrolled in law school at the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He graduated with his Juris Doctor (J.D.) in 2002.

Tom Benner has been focusing on helping his clients navigate through bankruptcy and other financial-related issues since 2002, when he first joined the Smeloff and Benner Law Office as an attorney.
Tom Benner formed Benner Law in order to provide their community with affordable and effective legal representation.
