Tom Moring’s practice emphasizes complex real estate and commercial disputes, creditor’s rights, tort litigation and collections matters. Mr. Moring has extensive experience in managing and performing all aspects of litigation from initial investigation through discovery to trial. During the real estate downturn, Mr. Moring began helping lenders and owners of real property navigate the short sale and foreclosure process, including helping negotiate alternatives to protect the interests of his clients.
Throughout Mr. Moring’s career, he has been involved in a wide variety of civil litigation matters, most as lead counsel. Among Mr. Moring’s many career highlights:
-Acted as lead counsel in several commercial trials involving in excess of $1 Million in controversy
-Managed personal injury actions resulting in settlements in excess of $1 million
-Participated in class action antitrust suit for plaintiff, resulting in settlement for plaintiff and over $45 million recovery
-Successfully prosecuted fraudulent transfer trial on behalf of client
-Assisted real property owners with short sale and foreclosure advice and protection
-Represented lenders in distressed real property with asset protection and negotiation with tenant
-Acted as local counsel for numerous out-of-state law firms and clients
