Clint Smith is admitted to the courts of Massachusetts, the Federal District Court of Massachusetts, the 1st Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
Clint is an honored member of ABOTA (see: www.abota.org), a nationwide invitation-only organization of trial attorneys for both Plaintiffs and Defendants. ABOTA's members are required to have significant experience as lead attorney trying a large number of cases to jury verdict. Even after inviting a lawyer to join, ABOTA subjects each prospective member to a scrupulous, intense, almost year-long local and national vetting process before finalizing the invitation to join. A high premium is placed upon a prospective member's reputation for collegiality and effectiveness in working with his or her opponents in jury trials. ABOTA membership is conditioned on an attorney's nationwide reputation among other attorneys for professional excellence and it includes the top Plaintiff and Defense Trial Lawyers in the country.
Clint has been rated "Martindale-Hubbell AV® Peer Review Rated" for over a quarter century.
("AV" = "Peer Rated For Highest Level of Professional Excellence") Martindale-Hubbell (Established in 1868) holds itself out as "The most trusted rating system for legal ability and ethical standards."
Clint has been selected to the national "Super Lawyers List" since 2004.
(The "Super Lawyers" List is issued by Thomson Reuters, a Canadian multinational and mass media corporation, and purports to be a list of the most outstanding top 5% of all the lawyers in each state. See www.superlawyers.com/about/selection_process_detail.html)
Clint is also an invited member of "National Trial Lawyers top 100," which is an exclusive invitation-only national trial lawyers organization.
Clint has achieved many million dollar, multimillion dollar and tens of million dollar case results in matters involving catastrophic injuries.
