Trey Porter
San Antonio Criminal Defense AttorneyYou can't win if you don't fight.
I fight for the individuals I represent, ensuring they receive a zealous, gritty, leave-no-stone-unturned defense. It is my sworn duty as a Texas lawyer, and I take it very seriously.
I work on a wide range of criminal matters, from Class C misdemeanors to First-Degree felonies, as well as federal offenses. I am in court most every day working to secure the best results for our clients.
I moved to Texas in 2008 to attend law school. I was fortunate in my second year of law school to begin a clerkship at the criminal firm of LaHood & del Cueto. It was there that I began to learn how to build a powerful defense for individuals facing the most serious of consequences.
Born and raised in East Tennessee, I now call San Antonio home. I don’t represent moonshiners like my great-grandfather once did, but I am very proud to carry on the family tradition of representing the citizen accused.
My experience and refusal to take no for an answer has been crucial in securing reductions, dismissals, and reinstatements for my clients. I also file expunctions, petitions for non-disclosure, and I work to get occupational driver’s licenses for individuals with suspended licenses.
I was honored to be named one of the best criminal defense attorneys in San Antonio in 2018.
