Biography

Tyler Murray, Esq. attended law school at Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida. While there he gained litigation experience in United States Tax Court while interning at the Low Income Tax Clinic. He also volunteered with the AARP-Vita program where he prepared federal tax returns for elderly and low-income individuals. Tyler was very active in the law school community and graduated with Pro Bono honors for completing over 150 hours of volunteer work while in law school.

After graduating from Florida Coastal in 2009 Tyler moved to Denver to sit for the bar exam and begin his LL.M. in taxation at the University of Denver. He was sworn in to the Colorado Bar in October of 2009. During his studies at the University of Denver, Tyler focused on the taxation of entities. Tyler also clerked at Kroll Law Offices where he focused on estate administration.

Tyler is very active with Colorado Bar Association Tax Section, where he contributes articles to their newsletter, and volunteers for their Pro Se Taxpayer Clinic. Tyler currently sits on the Executive Council of the Tax Section.
