Vianey Kristina Hurtado
Vianey K. Hurtado Law
Vianey Kristina Hurtado was born and raised in Yuma, Arizona. As the daughter of immigrants from Mexico, Vianey became interested in immigration law. Vianey moved to Phoenix, AZ, where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree at Arizona State University and later her Juris Doctorate Degree from Phoenix School of Law. With over 10 years of experience, she has dedicated her career to assisting immigrants in attaining their “American Dream.”
Vianey also focuses her practice in the area of criminal law, as she saw a great need among the immigrant population for a criminal lawyer to be well-versed in immigration law. With her significant experience in both criminal and immigration law, Vianey has helped many immigrants, even those facing criminal charges, successfully avoid deportation, obtain lawful permanent residency, and ultimately become United States citizens.
Vianey provides individualized attention and conducts an in-depth analysis for each of her clients. With compassion and empathy, she is committed to assisting those who have left their country to establish their lives in the United States. She has also dedicated her time to providing pro-bono representation with reputable organizations throughout Arizona, earning an award for Children’s Pro Bono Attorney of the Year in 2018 with the Florence Project and being recognized by Chicanos For La Causa for her work in the community.
Vianey is also an active participant in the “PALE" program with the Consulate of Mexico in Phoenix, Arizona. Vianey enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
