Vince M. Roche
Davenport, Evans, Hurwitz & Smith, LLPVince Roche is a Commercial Litigation attorney at Davenport, Evans, Hurwitz & Smith, LLP in Sioux Falls, SD. Vince focuses his practice on commercial litigation, including trusts and estates litigation, class action defense and defending financial institutions. He also has substantial experience representing clients in arbitration and mediation matters arising out of commercial disputes. Prior to joining the firm in 2008, Vince practiced for five years in Chicago with Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Novack & Macey LLP. Since joining the firm, he has obtained dismissal of several multimillion-dollar class action lawsuits against firm clients in both state and federal court. In addition, Vince has successfully defended a number of lawsuits alleging breach of fiduciary duty and related claims against the trustees of large, multi-generational trusts sitused in South Dakota to take advantage of its favorable trust laws. He has also represented multiple firm clients in complex business disputes in state, federal and appellate courts around the country. In his spare time, Vince enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife, Andrea, and their three sons.
