You might find it helpful when selecting a lawyer to know a bit about them. You probably know all lawyers have to graduate from law school, but beyond the basics, who are they? As for me, you should know that I'm married to my wife Joan, and I have five children. They are all hard working, and each had their turn cleaning my Orlando office growing up. They are and will remain the most important part of my life. They are the lights of my life.
I met my wife Joan at a Methodist church picnic. We were married in that church and still attend today. My work ethic and that which I impart on my children and my staff was developed by my parents while growing up on a dairy farm in upstate New York where I worked for my Dad and Grandfather, (A fun fact about me is that in addition to farm work, my brothers and I had a paper route, delivering for the Syracuse Herald Journal 7 days a week.) I have also served in the United States Army, worked for two Members of Congress and have practiced law in Central Florida for over 27 years, representing thousands of consumers in large and small, simple and complex legal cases in Florida, New York, District of Columbia, Georgia and Michigan.
I am extremely proud of the outstanding team I recruited and in most cases trained since they were undergraduates. I truly believe that hiring people smarter than you is one of the best ways to to build a law practice. My team of lawyers handle cases as diverse as personal injury, workers compensation, disability, probate and family law. We have recovered millions on behalf of our clients and one of the first things you hear in our office is "How can we help?"
