William Marcus Wilkerson is an attorney licensed in the State of Texas. He is generally referred to by his middle name, "Marcus."
Marcus Wilkerson graduated from West Orange-Stark High School in 1998. He then spent three years at Texas A&M University but left before he completed his undergraduate degree. He picked up undergraduate studies in 2005, receiving his Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) and graduating summa cum laude from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. He then went on to South Texas College of Law from which he graduated with honors in December of 2010.
Marcus worked for the Law Office of Terrance Baggot during his second and third year in law school until December 2023. He then moved back to Orange, Texas, and opened his private practice in Beaumont, Texas in April 2012.
Since opening his private practice, Marcus has helped thousands of clients facing criminal charges, needing a divorce or a custody modification, taking care of estates after the loss of a loved one, and reviewing and assisting in real estate transactions. He has tried numerous felony and misdemeanor cases to juries, securing
"not guilty" verdicts for a number of his clients. He is direct and straightforward in evaluating your case and the evidence whether you are dealing with a family law matter or a criminal issue he will give you explain the law as it pertains to your matter and advise you of your options as well as which option he feels might be the best for you in your particular situation. Mr. Wilkerson recognizes not all cases are trial cases, but he also has no fear of stepping into the courtroom as a trial attorney.
Mr. Wilkerson typically practices in Jefferson County, Hardin County, and Orange County, but will travel further if needed and if the circumstances merit it.
