Naert Law Firm, LLC was originally founded by Attorney Naert in 2011. Attorney Naert was licensed to practice in South Carolina in 2009 and is licensed to practice in State and Federal Courts. In the interim, Attorney Naert has managed a law firm and practiced law on behalf of litigants, namely Plaintiffs. Prior to practicing law, Attorney Naert graduated from the Charleston School of Law where he served as a Federal Courts Law Review Articles Editor; worked with the Judge Advocate General (JAG) office at Shaw Air Force Base; and earned Bachelors' degrees with honors from Winthrop University in Modern Languages (fluent in Spanish) and from the Political Science Honors College.
Attorney Zach S. Naert never charges for consults. Why? So that you might know your rights. Do not delay, there is no charge to speak with Zach directly about your rights. Do know that if you delay, you may forever prejudice your rights, as there are statutes of limitations and timelines that may apply to your specific claims. Every claim is different, so do not rely on your neighbor's friend's story about something. Consult with an attorney, and know your rights.

- Q. Can I cancel a contract for a full refund of the purchase made in Orlando FL for a deeded Time Share in Myrtle Beach, SC
- A: There is only a 5 day unilateral right of rescission for the purchase of South Carolina timeshares under the SC Timeshare Act. However, you should consult with a Timeshare Attorney regarding exit options, as there may be options that exist to assist you in divesting yourself of your timeshare ownership. I would not recommend contacting a timeshare relief company, but instead a South Carolina licensed Timeshare Attorney.
- Q. Can I fire a general contractor? What are the consequences?
- A: Although you do not have a written contract, presumably you do have a verbal contract, which is the verbal agreement for the work to be done and the compensation to be paid. It would be a good idea to preserve all of your evidence now, as you noted, it may turn into a civil litigation/contract dispute. You can certainly terminate the agreement between you and the general contractor, the question is how to resolve the present dispute regarding the shoddy work done and the amount of money being requested, hopefully there is a negotiate resolution that would work for both parties. You should retain an attorney to memorialize any resolution in writing so that it is formally completed.
- Q. I've told my hus. 2 leave 3 times b/c R marriage is over, but he won't go & I'm scared. What can I do?
- A: You should immediately consult with a Family Law attorney, who will likely advise you to begin the process by filing suit and requesting a Temporary Hearing.
