- Q. Please help. My son passed away 6 months ago. How do I access his treasury direct account. I need to know how to access
- A: To addd to the prior answer, further information can be found on the TreasuryDirect website - https://www.treasurydirect.gov/savings-bonds/manage-bonds/death-of-owner/
Good luck, and sorry for your loss.
- Q. Can I make Kia reimburse me?
- A: There are at least two class action settlements involving allegedly defective Kia engines.
Since your question doesn't specify what model Kia you had issues with, or which class action you believe that you participated in, I can't fully answer your question.
The first, In re: Hyundai and Kia Engine Litigation, No. 8:17-cv-00838-JLS-JDE (C.D. Cal.), was on behalf of owners or lessees of 2011-2019 model year Kia Optima, 2012-2019 Kia Sorento, or 2011-2019 Kia Sportage models equipped with a 2.0L or 2.4L Gasoline Direct Injection engine. You can find out more information, and contact the claims administrator, here - https://www.kiaenginesettlement.com/
The second, In re: Hyundai ... Read More
- Q. I am involved in the Playtika Settlement case. Trying to find out when payout date is
- A: According to the claims administrator's website:
"You SHOULD receive a check or electronic payment from the Settlement Administrator within 60 days after the Settlement has been finally approved and/or after any appeals process is complete." (emphasis added).
That approval was granted on March 11, 2021.
Things can and do slow the process down, including if anyone appealed the Court's granting of final approval to the settlement.
I would suggest calling their toll free number - 844-412-1946 or visiting the dedicated case website - http://www.playtikasettlement.com/
Best of luck.
