Ayesha N. Khan has over two decades of experience handling civil and criminal trial-level and appellate litigation in state and federal courts throughout the country. She has represented clients before the United States Supreme Court, every federal circuit, federal trial-level courts, state trial and appellate courts, the American Arbitration Association, and the Iran-U.S. Claims Tribunal. Her cases have involved a wide array of legal issues, including questions arising under the First Amendment and other federal constitutional provisions, state and federal statutes in the areas of education, employment, and public funding. criminal matters, and contracts, torts, family law, and other aspects of common-law jurisprudence. In addition to representing clients in litigation before the state and federal courts, Ms. Khan prepares friend-of-the-court briefs in cases of substantial concern to clients. She also collaborates with counsel from other firms on drafting critical trial-level filings and identifying and preserving legal issues for potential appellate treatment.
