Brandon Michael Biggs
Biggs & Gunst P.C.
Since being admitted to the the Michigan Bar in 2015, Brandon has focused most of his practice on personal injury litigation and is a strong advocate on behalf of his clients injured in automobile accidents. Brandon has collected millions from insurance companies. Since co-founding Biggs & Gunst, P.C., Brandon has expanded his practice to include family law as well as mediation.
Growing up in and around the water and later crewing aboard a 72’ tall ship in college, Brandon has always had a passion for maritime concerns. While in law school he specialized in maritime and admiralty law, with an emphasis in trial practice. Brandon had the privilege of serving as a Sea Grant Law Fellow while at Roger Williams, where he worked with local municipalities to address legal issues surrounding their energy needs.
Community service has always been important in Brandon’s life, and has become a hallmark of Biggs & Gunst philosophy. Following college, Brandon rode from Jacksonville, FL to San Francisco, CA on bicycle with Bike & Build, an organization which raises money and awareness for affordable housing programs through cross country cycling trips. He took a position leading a second trip from Virginia Beach, Virginia to Cannon Beach, Oregon, following his first year of law school. On his second trip, Brandon experienced the loss of a friend and fellow leader on another of Bike & Build’s routes due to and inattentive driver. As a result, Brandon is dedicated to fighting for cyclists rights, and getting justice for those who have been injured by motor vehicles. It was also on this second trip across the country that Brandon met his wife, an Ann Arbor Native, who would bring him to MI.
Brandon spends his free time with wife, Lizzy, and their Airedale, Opie. In addition to being an avid sailor and cyclist, Brandon is a car enthusiast. He enjoys working on cars, going on drives, and is in the process of rebuilding a vintage motorcycle in his spare time.
