Brannan W. Reaves
My civil practice focuses on insurance, business, and professional liability defense. I have significant experience in personal and commercial automobile defense, premises liability defense, construction defect litigation, and insurance coverage matters. I have also represented numerous insurance companies against claims of bad faith, fraud, and other extra-contractual actions. I represent a variety of businesses, ranging from small, family-owned businesses to Fortune 500 companies, in all aspects of litigation. I also represent a wide range of professionals (pharmacists, nurses, teachers, etc.) before many of Alabama's governing administrative agencies on licensing and certification matters. My transactional practice concentrates on representing businesses from start-up to dissolution, advising and effectuating buyouts and mergers, and generally assisting with any day-to-day operations where my clients may need assistance or legal expertise. I also have an extensive estate planning practice preparing will, trusts, powers of attorney and other similar documentation.
