Cari F. Silverman
Levin & Perconti
Cari F. Silverman joined Levin & Perconti in October 2011 before being admitted into the Illinois State Bar in November 2011. As an associate attorney, Cari works on many types of personal injury and wrongful death cases, including nursing home abuse and neglect, medical malpractice, car and trucking accident, and product and premises liability matters. In September 2014, Cari was named to the Law Bulletin Publishing Company's list of "40 Illinois Attorneys Under 40 to Watch" for 2014.
Prior to becoming an associate, Cari was a clerk at Levin & Perconti in the Summer 2010. Since she joined the firm as an attorney, she has played an important role in a number of significant victories for clients. In 2012, Cari obtained a $592,000 medical malpractice verdict while sitting second chair in her first jury trial.
Cari earned her law degree from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2011. While in law school, Cari served as a Judicial Clerk to Associate Judge Brian McPheters of the Sixth Judicial District Champaign County. She also served as a Staff Writer for the Illinois Business Law Journal, an Ambassador for the College of Law and President of the Jewish Law Society.
Cari attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance degree with High Honors in 2008. During her tenure at the University Cari received membership to the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and was named to the Dean’s List.
