Chad Brown
Partin, Patton & Brown, P.L.L.C., Elkin NCChad joined Partin, Patton & Brown in July 2004 and became a Partner in January 2009. His practice focuses in the areas of Social Security Disability and personal injury. Chad is a North Carolina Board Certified Specialist in Social Security Disability Law. Chad attended law school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1999) where he was an Articles and Notes Editor for the North Carolina Banking Law Institute and Journal. Following law school, he clerked for the Honorable Robert F. Orr on the N.C. Supreme Court and served as an Assistant District Attorney in N.C. Judicial District 6B (Hertford, Northampton, and Bertie Counties) and N.C. Judicial District 23 (Wilkes, Yadkin, Ashe and Alleghany Counties). Prior to joining Partin, Patton & Brown, Chad was an associate at the North Wilkesboro, N.C. firm of Vannoy, Colvard, Triplett & Vannoy where he focused his practice in the areas of general and personal injury litigation and criminal defense. Chad is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association, National Organization of Social Security Claimant's Representatives (NOSSCR), and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. Chad is admitted to practice before the North Carolina Supreme Court and the Western and Middle Federal Judicial Districts. In his spare time, Chad enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, fly fishing, helping coach little league baseball and serving in his church.
