Charles Ray Maxwell
Charles R. Maxwell II is a Florida native. He attended the University of Florida from 1991 through 1999 where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance with Honors, a Masters in Business Administration, and a Juris Doctorate degree.
Upon completion of his studies, Mr. Maxwell was admitted into the Florida Bar and immediately began practicing law in 1999. He started his career working with the law firm of Nabors, Giblin & Nickerson, P.A, where his practice primarily focused in the areas of debtor in possession financing in Chapter 11 corporate bankruptcies, affordable housing, and municipal bond law.
Next, in 2001 Mr. Maxwell established his own solo practice law firm, Charles Ray Maxwell II, P.A., where he broadened his practice areas to include corporate law, corporate and residential real estate, land development and zoning, estate planning and family law. During this period, Mr. Maxwell became working with a variety of entrepreneurs in the development of startup companies primarily in the technology, internet, and commercial real estate sectors. In addition, his law firm began representing many condominium and homeowner associations for the collection of assessments and other enforcement issues. The law firm expanded in 2007 to include a second South Florida office in the small historical town of Lauderdale By The Sea and primarily services legal matters in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach Counties.
Then, in 2003 Mr. Maxwell established a commercial land development company known as the Orange Blossom Development Group, LLC and initiated a multi-million dollar land initiative to enhance the local community and stimulate business development along the Interstate 4 Corridor in the Downtown Orlando area. The initiative continues to exist and grow today, and it is expected to continue to enhance the local businesses and economy as this area continues to redevelop.
Finally, on June 1st of this year Mr. Maxwell announced the newest expansion of his legal practice with addition of Orlando attorney Angela Stanley. The new firm named Maxwell & Stanley, P.L. represents a new breed of law firm that will incorporate the latest technologies to provide its clients better customer service and its attorneys more tools at their disposal. With Mrs. Stanley’s litigation experience and Mr. Maxwell’s business background, the law firm has established an aggressive business plan to grow their legal practice over the next year.
