Christian Ayers has been fighting for the rights of injured workers with the firm since 2014. On a typical day, Christian litigates cases before the North and South Carolina Industrial Commissions, takes client meetings and phone calls, and drafts court filings to get weekly payments and medical treatment for his clients. Christian was recently recognized by his peers and selected to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for 2019 and for 2020. This selection is based off of an evaluation of 12 indicators including peer recognition and professional achievement in legal practice. He primarily assists injured persons with Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury claims.
He attended Furman University in Greenville, SC where he majored in Religious Studies and English. Christian earned his Juris Doctorate degree from The University of Memphis – Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in Memphis, Tennessee, where he was given the distinction of graduating Magna Cum Laude. As a third year student, Christian served as an adjudicator for the Memphis Housing Authority. At the Memphis Housing Authority, he was assigned to investigate, research, hear, adjudicate, and issue written opinions ruling on administrative appeals involving participants in the Memphis Housing Authority’s Housing Choice Voucher Program who had challenged adverse decisions affecting their eligibility for or amounts of public housing assistance they were receiving.
Christian was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. When he is not in the office or taking calls at home, Christian enjoys spending time with his family. He is an avid fisherman, and is passionate about protecting the Carolina’s beautiful public lands and wild places.
