Christopher Campbell joined Pless Law Firm in 2023 as Senior Counsel. Based in the Denver office, he specializes in assisting clients with acquisitions, dispositions, equity investments, syndications, fund formation, leasing, capital structuring, financing, 1031 exchange, and tenant-in-common structuring and finance. In his twenty years of practice, Chris has regularly worked with asset management firms, private equity funds, opportunity funds, local and regional owners and operators, investment banks, financial institutions, private lenders, investors, institutional owners, and high net worth investors throughout the country on multifamily, office, hotel, mixed-use, retail and industrial projects.
Chris has also successfully represented landlords and tenants in structuring and negotiating office, industrial and retail leases totaling several million square feet for properties across the country Additionally, he is well-versed in corporate and general contract matters, including structuring real estate investments, syndication, equity fund creation, business entity formation, joint ventures, preferred equity investments, property management issues, as well as the preparation and review of business contracts.
In addition to two decades of legal practice, Chris has been an active investor in real estate for over ten years. He currently owns and operates a private equity real estate investment company of his own, focusing on multifamily and office assets in the Denver area. With his investment company, Chris has led the acquisition and execution of nearly $55 million of multifamily properties comprising approximately 300 apartment units and 18,500 square feet of office space. Chris’s experience as a principal allows him to focus on legal issues that have a real impact on his clients from a business standpoint.
