Legal Answers
Q. I live in NH in an auto accident other party 100% responsible do I take the med pay or will it stop med expense
A: Yes, you can use the med pay check to cover your copays. Using med pay to cover your copays will not prevent you from seeking compensation for your medical bills, lost earnings, or other damages from the other insurance company. Using the med pay will allow you to avoid out of pocket expenses while you wait to settle your case or go to trial. If you are using health insurance to cover the medical bills and you then recover from the other insurance company you may need to reimburse your health insurance company for what they paid. You may want to talk to an attorney about the specifics of your case.
Q. Which court do you go to in order to file for SSDI?
A: To file for Social Security Disability you file the initial application either online or at your local office. To file online go to: or find a local office here: . If you have already been denied by Social Security and have already appealed your case to the Appeals Council, and the Appeals Council denied your claim, then you would file in the Federal District Court in the state you live in.
