Dylan Joyce Tessier

Attorney Dylan Tessier practices U.S. immigration law exclusively, focusing her practice on family petitions, employment-based visas, adjustment of status, waivers of inadmissibility, consular processing, naturalization, VAWA petitions for survivors of battery and/or extreme cruelty, and U Visas for victims of crime.
Dylan brings diverse experiences that give her a unique perspective when representing her clients. Prior to practicing law, Dylan worked in the U.S. refugee resettlement program, welcoming and resettling refugees from Somalia, Liberia, Afghanistan, and many other countries throughout the world. She then moved to Ghana, West Africa, where she worked for the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program. Dylan also has experience in criminal law and working with survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
Dylan earned her law degree from the University of Washington School of Law, where she represented detained immigrants through the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project and wrongly convicted individuals through the Innocence Project Northwest.
She is a member of the Florida Bar, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and the Volusia County Bar Association.
