Edward Keith DuBose
Keith was born and raised in Sarasota, a rarity these days, but that's not the only thing that makes him rare. Keith received a football scholarship to play at Duke University and was a member of the 1989 ACC Championship team. After receiving his degree from Duke, Keith attended the University of Florida College of Law where he received a degree he knew would help transform lives. Keith was offered an opportunity to work at a local law firm back home in Sarasota, and without hesitation, Keith jumped at the offer that would allow him to be close to family and make a difference in his community. Over the past 20 years Keith has been making a difference in the lives of families in Sarasota and the surrounding areas who have been injured or suffered the loss of a loved one due to the negligence of another. Keith and his team work hard to obtain fair and just compensation for people after an accident. Through special knowledge, experience, tenacity and compassion, Keith has been able to procure multiple seven figure recoveries (million-dollar recoveries) for his clients. Whether it's the negligence of an individual or a corporation that has caused injury or death of a loved one, Keith shows up as a powerful advocate against the wrongdoer and as a compassionate listener and counselor for those injured. Personal injury cases are stressful for all parties involved, but Keith will help lighten the stress for his clients and fight to make it right.
Outside of work, Keith is invested in making a difference in his community. Keith provides tours of the Sarasota County courthouse and judicial centers to local youth organizations and often sponsors community events in Sarasota and Manatee counties. Keith is widely known for his charismatic and dynamic personality and can be routinely found speaking at community events or providing mentorship support to local school kids. Keith shares his passion and expertise by serving on several boards that focus on community empowerment.
