Elizabeth Bowen has been with the firm since 1999 and concentrates her practice in condominium and community association law, addressing a broad range of legal issues for the firm’s community association clientele. Ms. Bowen’s association representation includes contract review, negotiation and drafting, covenant enforcement, providing opinions and guidance regarding interpretation and application of governing documents, providing advice regarding the day-to-day administration and operation of the association, and preparing meeting packages for board meetings, annual meetings and elections, and other special meetings. She has also assisted clients with administrative investigations by the Bureau of Compliance, Division of Florida Condominiums, Timeshares, and Mobile Homes, and with issues that arise between associations and municipalities, such as code violations and municipal enforcement actions. Ms. Bowen also assists clients with their various real estate transactional needs. As the former supervising attorney in the collections department, she developed a significant depth of experience in association assessment collection and foreclosure litigation.
Ms. Bowen served as President of the Miami Chapter of the American Society for Industrial Security and managed residential and commercial real estate projects prior to pursuing her legal career.
