Erdal Turnacioglu
Your Employment Solutions Are Here.
Erdal Turnacioglu concentrates his practice in the area of employment law. He has substantial experience within the state and federal courts of New York and New Jersey.
Over the course of my legal career, Erdal has been driven by a passion for employment law. After law school, he worked in-house for a major New York City insurance company, handling motor vehicle accident defense. While this job introduced him to the practice of law, Erdal never lost sight of his dream of one day assisting individuals and businesses with their employment-related issues.
In 2010, Erdal attended a seminar entitled, “How to Handle an Employment Discrimination Claim.” Among the speakers was a federal magistrate judge, who remarked that:
"Employment is part of your identity; it defines who you are."
This became Erdal's rallying cry and a key part of his elevator speech. Finally, in 2014, Erdal joined a plaintiff's side employment law firm, where he represented clients throughout the State and Federal Courts in New York and New Jersey, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the States' Divisions on Human Rights.
In 2015, and then again in 2019, Erdal went to the defense side in employment matters, representing medical providers such as RWJBarnabas Health and University Hospital, and then defending public entities in employment claims brought by public officials and employees.
In 2022, Erdal started Erdal Employment Law, which focuses on providing employment solutions to both employees and businesses, whether through litigation, review of employee handbooks, workplace investigations, or training seminars. He is thrilled about the opportunities to help others in this new venture.
