Eric Leighton Young

Eric L. Young, founder of Young Law Group, is a respected plaintiff attorney with a prominent track record in whistleblower cases. Alongside being AV-Rated by Martindale-Hubbell for legal expertise and ethics, he has secured notable whistleblower awards and represented whistleblowers globally. Eric’s clientele span from blue-collar workers to top executives. 

In 2020, Taxpayers Against Fraud Education Fund recognized Eric as one of their Lawyers of the Year for his work in two significant whistleblower cases against Novartis and Teva, resulting in over $800 million settlements. 

As the managing partner at Young Law Group, Eric specializes in advising clients who intend to report corporate fraud to the government. He represents clients in actions under the False Claims Act and those providing information under the whistleblower programs of the SEC, the CFTC, and the IRS. 

Eric also served as an expert witness in a major tax whistleblower case, evaluating evidence regarding a $104 million IRS Whistleblower Award. He represented the first whistleblower to receive an award under section 7623(b) of the IRS code, securing his client a $4.5 million reward while maintaining their anonymity.
