Grant Keating is a partner practicing in the firm’s Business and Commercial Litigation department. He employs a pragmatic approach to litigation and has successfully represented a wide variety of businesses and individuals at trial, appeal and in ADR. Grant has extensive experience in the following areas of law: banking and loan restructuring, breach of contract, Clean Water Act, commercial lease disputes, construction disputes, creditor’s rights, defamation, director and officer liability, e-commerce, employment disputes, environmental litigation, foreclosures, international discovery assistance pursuant to 28 U.S.C. §1782, mechanic’s liens, minority shareholder rights, Ohio’s Consumer Sales Practices Act R.C. 1345.01 et. seq., professional negligence, property rights, receivers, stock fraud, supply chain litigation, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991 47 U.S.C. §227, the Uniform Commercial Code, and wetland permitting and litigation. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyer Rising Star eight times in the last ten years and has an AV Preeminent rating with Martindale Hubbell.
Grant joined Dworken & Bernstein in 2007 after obtaining his Juris Doctorate with a concentration in litigation from Case Western Reserve University in 2005. His undergraduate education was completed in 2001 at Ithaca College where he received a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Psychology and co-authored and presented studies on juror member decision-making to the American Psychological Association.
