James J. Finn, III
James J Finn, III was the founder and managing partner of the Law Office of James J. Finn. Before establishing his own firm, Jim was a partner at the law firm of Bicknell & Smith. Jim’s practice focuses on all aspects of residential real estate. Jim has extensive experience negotiating purchase and sale agreements for both buyers and sellers and forming condominiums. Jim also represents several local lending institutions. Jim also has experience with commercial real estate transactions, title examinations, and issuance of title insurance policies.
Jim graduated from New England School of law in 1999 and has a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in English from Fitchburg State University.
Jim is a member and past president of the Cambridge, Arlington Belmont Bar Association. Jim is also active in the town of Belmont. A past vice president of the Belmont Youth Hockey Association, Jim spent six years on the youth hockey board. Jim is also an active member of the Belmont Lion’s Club, and is a former member of the Town of Belmont Permanent Audit Board Committee.
