- I help commercial real estate professionals and small business owners lock down their rights in their contracts, leases, and other legal documentation. You will know what is in your documents, what is missing, and what the consequences are, so you can make sound business decisions. Understand what you are agreeing to, before signing on the dotted line, and without slowing down your business operations. I provide on-call, as-needed fractional general counsel services, where you get a unique legal solution customized to your issue and your business. You will have certainty and security and know exactly what the rights and obligations are of everyone in the transaction. Get the in-house counsel you need from an outside attorney who is there when you need responsive, reliable and practical legal advice (with no legal jargon).

- I manage commercial leasing and franchising for a 100+ lease multi-concept portfolio and the associated franchises (including development agreements, closure rights and franchisor incentives) in 3 states (restaurants and retail) for this rapidly-expanding restaurant franchisee/real estate investment group (4th largest restaurant franchise group in US). Controlling costs is a large part of this company’s success, so all of my activities are aimed toward that goal. A major and ongoing project I am leading is an investigation to reconcile and recover an estimated $500K in development agreement incentives, including franchise and royalty reductions. Another one is my collaboration with the lead lender to evaluate and attain landlord SNDAs for a $150M syndication loan. Related to the loan, I analyzed and advised General Counsel on the franchise requirements regarding collateralization of loan and subordination issues.
