Jennifer Helen Zorrilla
Ms. Zorrilla has been an attorney since 1999. She is licensed to practice law in California, the State of Washington, the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, and the United States Courts for the Ninth Circuit. She has represented individuals in administrative hearings since 2003 and has experience litigating federal civil cases against the Social Security Administration. Before practicing Social Security disability law, Ms. Zorrilla worked as a welfare and government benefits attorney and, before that, as an assistant public defender. Ms. Zorrilla is a sustaining member of the National Organization for Social Security Representatives (NOSSCR), a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, a member of the American Bar Association, and a member of the Lawyer's Club of San Diego. Ms. Zorrilla is a sole practitioner and handles her cases from start to finish. Clients communicate directly with Ms. Zorrilla during representation.

Free Consultation
Free consultations for recent denials of Social Security Insurance and Supplemental Security Income disability benefits. Consultations are done via Microsoft Teams or by phone. Consultations for initial applications are done on a case-by-case basis. My hourly fee is $250.00 and must be paid in advance (via LawPay or Venmo). -
Contingent Fees
The current statutory fee is 25% of the back pay or $7200.00, whichever is less. -
Rates, Retainers and Additional Information
Ms. Zorrilla requires a $100.00 cost deposit paid via LawPay (electronic bank and credit card payments are accepted) or Venmo. The costs are paid regardless of the outcome. They include medical record fees and parking (for live hearings).
