Q. Hi, I am currently studying in the USA and hold F-1 Visa status. My wife is a US citizen.
A: The immigration suspension does not affect adjustment of status for people already in the U.S. as of April 23, 2020. See my recent blog article on my website, "Coronavirus Immigration Suspension: Who is Exempt?" for more information.
Q. I m having an issued f4 category visa expiring on 20th May, 2020. Please explain impact of new green card policy on visa
A: If by "new green card policy on visa" you are referring to Trump's proclamation and immigration suspension: If you already had a valid immigrant visa issued before April 23, 2020, or were in the United States as of that date, you are exempted from the suspension. See the article on my blog for more information.
