Joshua (Josh) Bruner is a results-driven Criminal Defense Attorney who passionately advocates for his clients. Skilled in client relations, negotiations, and litigation Mr. Bruner is recognized for consistently achieving results for his clients and resolving cases via effective communications and appropriate case strategies. An incredible negotiator outside the courtroom and an effective advocate in the courtroom, Josh relentlessly fights for his clients utilizing his unique background, experience, strategy, and skills to achieve excellent outcomes. Always ensuring his clients are treated with dignity and the respect they deserve.
Josh began his career as a construction laborer and eventually ran his own construction business for about ten years before returning to school to earn his bachelor’s degree in political science from Idaho State University. Post-graduation, Josh contracted with the Army ROTC program and was commissioned in the U.S. Army as a Field Artillery officer. After serving several years, a combat deployment to Afghanistan, and a few moves around the country, Josh was one of 25 out of about 6500 qualified personnel selected by the Army for their Funded Legal Education Program.
Mr. Bruner attended the University of Washington School of Law. Josh was also a member of the Moot Court Honor Board, interned at a prosecutor’s office, externed for a trial judge, and externed for a Washington Supreme Court Justice. Josh was even awarded the MacGillivray Scholarship for Excellence in Advocacy.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Bruner was stationed at Fort Bragg, NC where he served as a Legal Assistance Attorney. He served soldiers and their families by providing legal advice and services on a series of matters, including the Service Member’s Civil Relief Act,
