Julie German Evert
Law Office of Julie German Evert, P.C.
Attorney Evert grew up outside of Philly and attended Columbia University, Barnard College, and the University of California, Berkeley, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree. She then went on to earn her JD from the University of San Francisco School of Law. She interned for the ACLU in Miami and Women Against Violence in Pornography and the Media, in San Francisco, sparking her enthusiasm for aggressive advocacy for the underserved.
In 1992, Attorney Evert founded American Mediation Institute (AMI). AMI implemented civil and family mediation training classes in the U.S. Virgin Islands for attorneys and skilled business people. Almost all civil cases are now mediated before they may proceed to trial, and more than 75% of all civil and family cases settle in mediation before trial, saving the parties time and money. Though she sold AMI in 1997, it remains the largest mediation company in the USVI. In her 30 years as a certified civil and family mediator, Attorney Evert has developed the skills and experience to obtain excellent results for her clients.
As your attorney, Attorney Evert has a stable of expert witnesses available to her clients, including forensic accountants, CPAs, liability experts, vocational rehabilitation experts, and economic experts. While her primary office is located in Charlotte Amalie, she is able to handle your case remotely from beginning to end.
Attorney Evert has a strong reputation with the Courts as a staunch and no-nonsense advocate. Attorney Evert is extremely aggressive in litigation and in court. While her clients want the aggressive approach to litigation, her clients frequently comment that as their attorney, Attorney Evert is caring, kind, and approachable, and she is available at all hours if an emergency should arise. Litigation is stressful and clients are often seriously injured and anxious about the process, and what to expect. From your first consultation, you will know that you are in good hands.
