Julie J. Marburger

Julie Marburger focuses her practice in the areas of Family Law and Real Estate Law. She spends most her time handling divorce, custody and support cases for her clients.
Julie spent most of her youth in the southern part of the US. She grew up outside of Atlanta, Georgia and attended college at the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. Julie graduated from CofC with a double Bachelor of Arts in Historic Preservation & Community Planning and Art History. She then attended the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, where she obtained a Masters of Historic Preservation. Julie attended law school at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School.
While in law school, Julie interned as a legal intern for the National Trust for Historic Preservation Washington, D.C. and as a clerk for Justice John A. Manglona of the Supreme Court of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, located on Saipan.
Julie is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Superior Court of Georgia and the United States Supreme Court.
In 2014, Julie received the “Select Lawyer” award for her practice in Family Law based on her “reputation within the community and among colleagues and peers, quality of services provided, experience, educational background and continuing educational endeavors, and utilization of best-practice procedures and techniques.” Julie has been selected to the Rising Star list, which recognizes excellence in lawyers age 40 and younger, for the years 2016-2019.
Julie currently serves as vice-chair of the Amity Township Planning Commission and vice-chair of the Pottstown Historic Architecture Review Board. She is very involved with the Berks County Bar Association where she serves as chair of the Law Day and the Entertainment Committees, co-vice chair of the Family Law Section, is on the board for the Endlich Law Club and is also involved in the Young Lawyers
