Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, LaSheena M. Williams is a distinguished legal professional who has dedicated her career to the intricate world of family law. A proud alumnus of Towson University, she holds dual degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice, a testament to her deep understanding of the complex human dynamics that often play a crucial role in legal matters.
LaSheena's journey in law began at Howard University School of Law, located in the bustling DMV metro area. Here, she honed her legal acumen, laying the foundation for her future successes. Her post-graduate path led her to an invaluable internship with The Prince George’s County State’s Office Citizen’s Complaint Division. During this time, she skillfully handled over 300 citizen-filed complaints, notably those concerning sensitive issues like elder abuse and domestic violence. This experience not only sharpened her legal skills but also deepened her commitment to serving the community.
Moving forward, LaSheena joined a small law firm in Baltimore County as a divorce and child custody attorney. In this role, she accumulated extensive experience in managing complex and contested cases involving divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, marital property, and cases related to domestic violence. Her expertise was honed in the Maryland Circuit Court, where she consistently demonstrated her proficiency in navigating the challenging landscape of family law.
Beyond the courtroom, LaSheena is deeply involved in her community. Her dedication is evident in her active participation with local bar association community outreach and intervention programs. These efforts reflect her belief in the power of legal practice to not only resolve disputes but also to foster community well-being.
LaSheena M. Williams, with her comprehensive education, extensive legal experience, and unwavering commitment to her community, stands out as a distinguished figure in Maryland's legal landscape.
