Laura Gardner
Family Law Attorney in Portland and Gresham Area
As a family lawyer, Laura Gardner uses her experience handling a wide range of matters to advocate for the best interests of both children and parents. Primarily, Lauren offers legal representation for families during child custody disputes, helping parents attain the sole or joint custody arrangement they need.
Laura understands that a custody battle is one of the most life-altering challenges a family can face. When the preservation of a child’s best interests hinges on the outcome of a custody battle, Laura works for that outcome as though she were fighting for her own child.
Laura also provides counsel and legal advocacy in cases involving marriage dissolutions, divorce modifications, and contested restraining orders. During her time at The University of Oregon, School of Law, she served as the Director of Women’s Law Forum, and she now devotes a significant portion of her time and resources to helping families overcome issues related to sexual assault and domestic violence. Because family law is an incredibly personal area of law, Laura combines genuine empathy with skilled legal advocacy to provide her clients with the comprehensive support they need.
Although she was born and raised in Southern California, Laura attended law school in Oregon and immediately fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. When she is not using her legal skills and experience to invest in her community, you will likely find her baking desserts for her loved ones or cuddling with her cat, Gretchen.
