Lisa Harding
Ms. Harding is a seasoned litigator with nearly a decade of experience in domestic relations and family law.
As the Proprietor and Managing Attorney at The Law Office of Lisa Harding, LLC, she spends most of her time involved in the day to day throws of custody, support, domestic violence, and divorce disputes. Since graduating from Temple University's Beasley School of Law, Ms. Harding worked as a City Attorney for the Philadelphia Department of Human Services. There, she was a mainstay in Juvenile Court where she litigated matters concerning education law, abused and neglected children, and custodial and visitation rights regarding juveniles. As a result, Ms. Harding is proficient in all matters involving juvenile delinquency and juvenile justice.
After leaving her position as a city attorney, Ms. Harding delved into the foray of private practice where she has garnered the reputation of being stealthy competent and an aggressive advocate for her clients. She has established a personal relationship with clients giving them her direct and undivided attention as they navigate the emotional maze of their court proceedings. Because she has witnessed the emotional and financial hardships that family law engenders, Ms. Harding has a network of providers that offer mental health and financial counseling services to clients. Her comprehensive approach has distinguished her from her contemporaries branding her a full service niche practice.
Ms. Harding has, to date, successfully defended all of her clients in Protection from Abuse hearings. Understanding that a finding of abuse will result in termination and preclusion from city employment as well as employment with the youth and elderly, Ms. Harding understands and applies the law for the protection of her clients. She has successfully argued for and against parents' petitions for primary physical custody, shared physical custody, and visitation, as well as spousal support, alimony, alimony pendent lite, and what is considered equitable distribution. She has drafted pre-nuptial, post-nuptial agreements, and settlement agreements that have been honored by the court.
